Tell Me

I wonder,
Is there anything out there?
Something we don’t know?
Our earth is just a grain of dust
In a universe that continues to grow.

Is there life on other planets?
Is there a God above?
There must be more
Than just living then dying.
What’s the point, I often ask?

Maybe there’s a parallel universe
Where departed ones meet again.
A world that’s full of light,
A world that has no pain.

Is there something beyond the stars,
Or is it just an empty space?
Is God in another universe?
Did he abandon the human race?

I hope there’s something out there.
Surely life can’t be that cruel.
I pray there’s a God looking over us.
If not,
“What’s the point of it all?”
